Originally issued in 1787 with just 48 views, this re-issued enlarged edition is complete with 63 plates. Good strong impressions of the engravings. An attractive series of views of Britain and Wales from the late 18th cent. These finely detailed engravings we drawn by prominent artists of the day, including Paul Sandby, Angus himself, John Claude Nattes, Edward Dayes, Lord Duncannon, and more.
